Description
The aluminum range of automatic Louvre shutters can be used with any extract system terminating through an internal or external wall.
The most common use for these shutters is with propeller fans or plate mounted wall extract fans.
In some cases these Louvre are preferred over wall cowls for aesthetic reasons.
The shutters are designed so that when the fan starts up, the shutters open and when the fan is switched off, the shutters close preventing a back draft of air into the building.
Standard size louvre shutters range from 315mm to 630mm although any size can be manufactured on request. Because of the large volumes of air going through the shutters, sizes greater than 630mm are not recommended.
