Description
This variable thyristor speed controller can be used to regulate any 220 volt speed controllable fan motor up to a current rating of 1.5 amps. It can also be used to control a number of fans connected to the unit provided the total amperage of the fans does not exceed the rating of the controller.
The unit is manufactured in a high grade plastic and can be mounted either flush or surface.
The controller has an on / off switch and starts control of the fan at the minimum speed setting. By rotating the control knob in a clockwise direction, the fan rpm is increased gradually to maximum speed. The minimum starting speed can be adjusted by means of a variable resistor located inside the unit.
For overload protection, the controller is equipped with a replaceable melting fuse.
